Exam 70-680
TS: Windows 7, Configuring
The 70-680 exam is the first Windows 7 exam. When you pass this exam, you
will earn the Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) certification on Windows
7.
Don't be mistaken though. Even though this is the first exam, there is a lot
to it. Just using Windows 7 isn't enough to pass this exam, even if you're
a power user.
You're expected to be able to be able to:
- Install, deploy, and upgrade to Windows 7, including ensuring hardware and software
compatibility
- Configure pre-installation and post-installation system settings, Windows security
features, network connectivity applications included with Windows 7, and mobile
computing
- Maintain systems, including monitoring for and resolving performance and reliability
issues
- Have a basic understanding of Windows PowerShell syntax
