This is the second exam in the MCITP Business Intelligence Developer 2008 certification.
To earn this certification, you need to pass this exam and also the
70-448 exam.
This certification is focused on the business intelligence developer role including:
- Working with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Integration Services
(SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Using the SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008 Business Intelligence Development
Studio (BIDS)
- Designing both relational and multidimensional database schemas
- Writing both relational and multidimensional queries
- Designing and building cubes
- Designing and creating reports
- Applying data mining algorithms to business problem domains
- Aggregating data from multiple sources into a data warehouse in a heterogeneous
data environment
- Designing and managing enterprise-level solutions for multidimensional databases
- Collecting and interpreting business requirements
